In the screenshot below, the mouse was clicked at the red dot, but it started drawing the interval where the yellow is:

Happens in both Firefox 41.0.2 and Google Chrome 46.0.2490.80.

The problem only seems to appear on graphs that are generated in graph prototype cells. In regular graph cells, it seems to work well.
