I have tried in the pre-zabbix-2.2.12rc1.

chrome and FireFox has been correctly vertically to display.
IE also displayed vertically, but the display has reversed 180 degrees. (In the case of Japanese)

I capture the screen. (Sorry, it's in Japanese).

FireFox and Chrome are horizontal writing font are displayed rotated by 90 degrees.
IE is vertical writing fonts are displayed rotated by 180 degrees.

Hello, Kazuo!
I was able to reproduce the thing in IE_Japanese.png on Zabbix 2.2.12rc1, but it looks like only 50% of all the screenshots put here. Problems mentioned in chrome.png and FireFox.png can no longer be reproduced on Zabbix 2.2.12rc1. Can You confirm these two problems exist on Zabbix 2.2.12rc1 or are those screenshots chrome.png and FireFox.png taken from Zabbix 2.2.10?
Also I was not able to reproduce this on Zabbix 3.0. Can You also confirm that this problem does not exist on Zabbix 3.0?

IE11.png and chrome.png and FireFox.png is screenshots of Zabbix2.2.10.
IE_Japanese.png and Chrome_Japanese.png and FireFox_Japanese.png is screenshots of Zabbix2.2.12rc1.

I will confirm in Zabbix3.0,

 - Chrome  Displayed correctly.
