when doing an auto discovery sometimes items are not supported
when disabeling those items and then going to the next page of items by clicking on the arrow the message pops up:

Zabbix has received an incorrect request.
Details
Operation cannot be performed due to unauthorized request.

what do you mean by "auto discovery" ? lld ?

note that it's best to never use term "auto discovery" with zabbix, as it could mean network discovery, active agent auto-registration, lld...

What do you after the error message has appeared ?
Have you to relogin again to be authenticated ?
Are you sure that the account you are using is not used by anyone else?
How long time is passed after you enabled the item and before you tried to navigate to next items page ?

The account being used was my private account with super admin rights

there was no way to go back to the previous page had to go back to the items page for the host. But had not to login again
everything was preserved.

Wow, I can reproduce it easily, it happens every time for me.

You can enable/disable any item or trigger (not lld created only) by single click in STATUS column, then navigate to other page (I mean pagination) by clicking next/prev page or a page number.
