How to reproduce:

  • create discovery rule with key "discovery" with type "Zabbix trapper"
  • create item prototype with name "{#I}" and key "item[{#I}]"
  • send discovery data zabbix_sender -z localhost -s host -k discovery -o '{"data":[{"{#I}":""}]}'
  • see screenshot

Same problems with trigger names, tags, graph names, host names...

Problem with item, trigger, graph names fixed in development branch svn://svn.zabbix.com/branches/dev/ZBX-11349
Host prototype work correctly. Problem with tag names better to fix next step in 3.2 version after merging this changes.

Updated development branch svn://svn.zabbix.com/branches/dev/ZBX-11349. In r63311 fixed same problem with IPMI sensor, SMNP OID, SQL query and executed script fields.

(1) We decided to drop empty field checking for IPMI sensor, SMNP OID, SQL query and executed script fields. It was still possible to create items with corresponding fields still empty (through item type changes).

Successfully tested. Created ZBX-11391 to fix trigger tag names in 3.2
