 Description   

1) Create a template and an application on that template.
2) Create a host and link the template.
3) On host, create web scenario and use the templated application.
4) Export host.

Open the exported XML and look for that web scenario. Notice that the web scenario is missing the application.

Zabbix 2.0 do not support web scenarios
Zabbix 2.2 export do not contain section of web scenarios at all; applications tag is empty.
Zabbix 2.4 export do not contain section of web scenarios at all; applications tag is empty.
Zabbix 3.0 export do not contain section of web scenarios at all; applications tag is empty.
Zabbix 3.2 <httptests> (web scenario) tag is included, but application is missed. <applications/> tag is empty.

Test scenarios should include export of applications that are inherited from template, as well as 'independent' applications.

Miks.Kronkalns Versions 2.2 and 3.0 are affected as well.

FOR TESTER:

  • Web scenario export must be tested in 3.2.
  • Hosts export must be tested in all affected versions.

iivs As discussed with sasha, the fix should be for 3.4. Issue was reopened due to regression. Now it's fixed incorrectly. Templated applications shouldn't appear on parent level.
