Description |
I have problem that any graph in Zabbix when i choose period 7d, 14d 1m or All is EMPTY. Zabbix has values for those period, it just doesnt want to show it on graph (2.JPG). For all smaller periods it works (1.JPG). I double checked if Zabbix get values for period more than 3d in the way that I have choosen 3d graph and period for month before and graphs works perfectly (3.JPG). |

Hi Marko, Apparently your Zabbix is not collecting trend data. See the bottom right corner of the graphs. There is a line telling whether the data is from history or trends tables. So the question is - why there are no trends? Check if you are actually collecting them. It can be done by opening the list of items on the host you have in the graph. There is a column for trends. Another place to look is Administration -> General -> Housekeeping (in top right dropdown) There is a section for trends as well and maybe Override item trend period is selected with a very low value (less than 3 days). If you want to check it on the database level then run the following SQL on the Zabbix database: select count(*) from trends To answer the question why there are no graphs displayed without trends even if there is history - the answer is performance. The longer time period you will choose the more data will be selected from the database thus making the query very heavy. Therefore Zabbix is not selecting too much data to avoid overloading the database. |

Hello Ingus! You were right, for some reason all those idems in "Trends" section had 0 days configured... Probably that is the reason, thank you for your support! Best Regards, Marko |

Hi Marko, Glad you got this solved. There is nothing to fix in Zabbix code, it works as configured. I am closing the issue. Ingus |
