In the documentation, I cannot see the root password of Appliance Ubunto OS, could someone share the root password info?

Have you tried:

Use “sudo su” command with “appliance” user name password to get root access rights

Thanks for the quick response. I am meaning the root password of Appliance Ubuntu OS itself.
I am trying to get into MySQL console with the provided appliance credentials but cannot...

Step 1.4 here:

should be rewritten to be more explicit. You can't "Log in as root user" if there is no root password set; you have to log in as somebody else first, then su or sudo.
