 Description   

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a trigger where they will get in PROBLEM state.
  2. Wait the trigger get into PROBLEM state
  3. Disable the trigger.
  4. At dashboard, add a Graph Widget , add any item and host
  5. Enable "show problem" and select the host with the trigger disabled.

Observation: the trigger origins from a template

Result:

The widget graph keep showing the trigger disabled.

Hello Cesar Inacio Martins,

Please also add a screen how you configured "add any item and host" inside the graph configuration section.

Hi, 

I'm attaching the screen requested. 

  • zabbix.2a.jpg : graph configuration
  • zabbix.2b.jpg : graph items configuration
  • zabbix.3b.jpg : showing the defect when "only selected items" is unchecked (in my environment).

But I would like to comment :

  • The option "Only selected items" doesn't affect directly the behave of this defect.
    I have it selected on my screen print because suits for my situation. 
  • The problem, have no relation between the host/item selected to show the graph and the host selected at the "problem" tab. 
    I tested here, even if I set Host A + items to show at the graph and Host B to show the problem, they still showing the disabled triggers from Host B (since the option "only selected items" is unchecked.

This is a bug. Let's recap the story. To reproduce the problem on Zabbix server create Zabbix trapper item "trap" with trigger:

{Zabbix server:trap.last()}>0

Reload configuration cache:

 zabbix_server -R config_cache_reload

Send trap:

zabbix_sender -z 127.0.0.1 -s "Zabbix server" -k trap -o 3

The trigger is on fire. Let's disable it:

Reload configuration to pick up latest changes:

zabbix_server -R config_cache_reload

Create a new modern graph and select a single item on host Zabbix server:

Enable Show problems option:

It shows the problem in the graph:
