i'd say this is more of a bug.
either such button should clear all linked item histories (preferred), or it should not be displayed for items that are attached to templates (not preferred 
)

When clearing items history for host all goes well. However when you try to clear history for item which is assigned to template, no items histories (linked to hosts) are cleared. Which is quite confusing. Suggestion: When clearing history for items in template, all linked items for all the hosts should be cleared too. |
