 Description

Hello everyone!

So we are monitoring our network with Zabbix 4.0.5, it worked pretty nice for two months, the server had to be rebooted, and now whenever I enter the screen section. I get this:

(See attachment for more information)

Individual graphs work correctly.

Any thoughts on why this happened?

Kindly appreciate it!

Hello Erudes,

Can you please specify, by the screen section you mean dashboard? If yes, you can try to clean out cookies in browser(or changing the browser), as they might be the reason behind this.

Please let me know if that helps.

Best Regards,
Aleksandrs

No, it's not on the dashboard, you access it through the dashboard

As said before, it's the only section where this message appears.

When looking for the graphs individually, they display just fine

I tried cleaning cookies, even installing Opera as new fresh browser and same error.

If the only thing you did was restart of the server, it is strange. Some other info to help to reproduce it, would be appreciated.

From the error message, I can assume, that time period in user's profile was corrupted.
If that is the case, then workaround could be to update time period for the screen (in a tab near the filter). Keep in mind, that if it will help, if will fix the problem only for current user.

Ok so I modified the time interval and it's now working.

It looks like when the server got restarted it left a minute of interval time period.

However, I have to specify a time period manually everytime I go to the screen section? I think that prior the server getting restarted it automatically selected the last hour

Glad, it helped. It at least narrows the problem to time period and profile entries.

The time period is saved for each page separately and in case for screens - for each screen separately, but once you have manually changed it, it should remain the same till next time, you will manually change it.
Last hour is default value, in case there is no custom period saved in profiles for this user and this screen.

From your comment, I can assume, you opened different screen and got the same problem. It can be explained by previous paragraph.
But if the problem remains in same screen, then it "should not have happened like that".

If deeper investigation is required, I would suggest to look in database maybe in combination with what you are doing, and how it changes these values:

SELECT idx, idx2, value_str FROM profiles WHERE userid=<insert your user's id here> AND (idx LIKE "web.screens.filter.from" OR idx LIKE "web.screens.filter.to") ORDER BY idx2;
