 Description   

Steps to reproduce:

  1. I have created an external item script in the default directory which echos "<b>toto</b>"
  2. I have created a new widget in my dashboard to display the external item as HTML
  3. instead of having a bold text toto i have the html text.

Result:

Expected:
Widget should display bold text by interpreting HTML. This feature was working ok in 3.4 and it stopped working after i migrated to 4.2.3

Hi, for our local tests i really needed to fix the issue rapidly while waiting for your official fix. So i managed to fix the problem by changing the file

/usr/share/zabbix/app/controllers/CControllerWidgetPlainTextView.php

Please see the screenshot "before.fix.png" and "after.fix.png"

Indeed I can see the issue happening as described, as well as that the proposed fix works.
I will pass it to the development team for check now, also I would recommend following ZBXNEXT-4929, as a similar issue is described there.

Hey Vasily, is it possible to upgrade to  4.0.11rc1 from an RPM? I can't seem to find it...
