Hi, Gleb, I'm told that two language selections have different purposes. The first one allows a Japanese visitor to understand that there is a version in Japanese. The second is used for marketing purposes to show that Zabbix is big and has translations into many languages. Regards, |

How about showing that Zabbix cares for people visiting its official website? Imagine a German person who does not speak English fluently. Zabbix website is not available in German. Luckily, "Documentation" in English sounds quite close to German "Dokumentation". But "German" in English looks very different from "German" in German ("Deutsch"), so that person may not be able to discover a book about Zabbix in his/her native language, will not learn how truly big and awesome Zabbix is, will turn away and will end up using Nagios for the rest of his/her life. |
