 Description   

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Upload ISO to Datastore or preferred VMWare ISO management process
  2. Configure VM (CentOS 8)
  3. Set ISO for 5.0.1 or 5.0.2
  4. Boot

Result:

ESXi reports being unable to boot from the connected drive.
Expected:
Installation bootloader/menu.

I can confirm that. Actual for current 5.0 and 5.2 ISO images.

Can you please check latest 5.0.7 & 5.2.3 appliances if you have time, zalex_ua ?

Made some updates there. Don't have access to ESXi right now to test myself.

zalex_ua Tested 5.0.7 and 5.2.3 completely - they work!
Used VirtualBox for tests.
