Hello,

MySQL 8.0 version requires new mysql-connector-odbc 8.0 library provided by upstream:
https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/

Otherwise this is related to ZBX-7665 and the following upstream problems:
https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=73709
https://mariadb.atlassian.net/browse/MDEV-9414
https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-9380

Closing as a duplicate for ZBX-7665.

Regards,
Edgar

I changed the mysql-connector-odbc version to 8.0.23. The server still crashed. So as a conclusion, mysql-connector-odbc version 5.2.7 may be the lastest compatible driver.

i think  for mysql 8.0 , unixodbc may not be the recommended mysql monitor method, userdefined or zabbix-agent2 method is recommended.
