Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download Zabbix agent: https://cdn.zabbix.com/zabbix/binaries/stable/5.4/5.4.4/zabbix_agent2-5.4.4-windows-i386-openssl.msi
  2. Install on 32bit Windows Server 2008 (build 6003: Service Pack 2)
  3. Or if you use exe installer (https://cdn.zabbix.com/zabbix/binaries/stable/5.4/5.4.4/zabbix_agent2-5.4.4-windows-i386-static.zip), [.exe is not a valid win 32 application message]error occurs like below.

Hello Ilgiz!

Please, note that Zabbix agent 2 is only supported on Windows Server 2008 R2 (which is version 6.1) and later, thus Windows Server 2008 SP2 is not supported.
Yes the error message is misleading, but still we cannot foresee each situation in case of an unsupported OS.

In its turn Zabbix agent (the first version) is supported on all desktop and server versions since XP - and can be used on Windows Server 2008 SP2.
