 Description   

To solve the problem of parent task need change vmware hv template and create the vmware.hv.sensor.health.state item through LLD, based on the information from vmware.hv.sensors.get.

Received lld json should contain the following object:

alarionovs According to Zabbix policy, Zabbix 5.4 has Full support for another 10 days: https://www.zabbix.com/life_cycle_and_release_policy

  • Full Support services include fixing of general, critical and security issues.
    Why did you remove 5.4.x from fixed versions?

Hi DevTeam,
I play with this new item key on multiple vCenter (with different versions) but I can collect the json using the item key "vmware.hv.sensors.get" but the related discovery inside the default "VMware Hypervisor" called "VMware: Get sensors: Healthcheck discovery" seems not working at all.
If you look to my attached file zabbix_vmware_hv_sensor_get.json there is no object called "VMware Rollup Health State", is my fault?
Also the Prototype Items seems strange because there is no LLD Macro on the item name.
I made a mistake or there is something wrong on the template? Or there is vSphere version limits support?

Hi dimitri.bellini, the problem is described in parent ZBX. If short - there is no more "Health status monitoring" sensor sience 6.5

Hi Michael,
could be useful to report this "limitation" on the doc and maybe update the Zabbix VMWare template for the newer version of VMWare.
Is something in the roadmap?
