Hello, I'm using zabbix 6.0 and I'm trying to integrate the notification on slack. I'm using the latest version of the media template available here https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/repos/zabbix/browse/templates/media/slack but during the test of media type I get the following error:
Details Media type test failed.
And the log says: |

Hello, Fabrizio! Are you trying to check the operability just by pressing "Test" button for the "Slack" media type? If so - then it will not work like that, as in order to send a notification to slack multiple fields have to be filled in with actual values. By default, there are macros that expand to the actual values only when used with some context (for example). So you need to generate a problem event and configure a corresponding "Trigger action" which as a reaction to a problem event would send a notification to Slack. Regards, Antons |

Ciao Antons, thank you very much for pointing me to this. Yes, I had to "expand" the variables and test it, that way works fine. Another issue, was a typo on zabbix.url variable I'm closing the ticket right now. Thanks again. Best Regards, |
