 Description   

Steps to reproduce:

  1. After some Time the Agent 2 Agent.Ping exporter send no items for some time, then starts again
  2. Other Values on the same host was send without problems
  3.  

Result:

Monitoring Screenshot and Agent log Attached

Expected:

Agent2 send all values.

We had set the Value for RefreshActiveChecks=3600 in our configuration. to reduce bandwith. After we switch back to the default RefreshActiveChecks=120 there are no missing Values anymore. We get more Values because it seams each check for Configuration add a Value to the Agent.Ping Item

Also which exact version used on the Agent side?

we have Testet it with 6.0.12 and 6.0.9

 

When we change the RefreshActiveChecks to 120 it worked, because the refresh seams to heal it. 

 

This is our Agent Config File

          1. GENERAL PARAMETERS 
            LogType=console
            DebugLevel=0
          1. Passive checks related
            Server=127.0.0.1,10.184.250.0/24
          1. Active checks related
            RefreshActiveChecks=3600
          1. ADVANCED PARAMETERS 
            Timeout=30
          1. INCLUDE CONFIGURATIONS
            Include=c:\Program Files\zabbix\conf\conf.d*.conf
          1. USER-DEFINED MONITORED PARAMETERS 
            UnsafeUserParameters=0

ControlSocket=\\.\pipe\agent.sock

So you have RefreshActiveChecks=3600 in the configuration file and could you show latest data for the Agent Ping item and how trigger is configured?

We have switched to 120 Seconds to get the checks Working without error.

 

I have changed one Server to 3600 Seconds again. If i have the Values I add them here.

 

We have used the "Template App Zabbix Agen"t for the Trigger. And changed the Template to use Active Checks for the Items.

I have attached the Screenshot with the Values, he should send the Values every minute, some of them are missing
