I think there is the same issue ZBX-21855 Zabbix Agent2 6.0.10 - Unknown metric pgsql.custom.query - ZABBIX SUPPORT

Hello to everyone!

As I mentioned in the other ticket postgresql plugin has been moved and now is a loadable plugin. This also means that the default configuration file has been moved with postgresql plugin, and is no longer in the main Zabbix repository.

Also, additional information on different plugin types is available here and more information on loadable plugins is here.

I hope this helps clear up the confusion.

We are talking about 6.0 here LTS  ... Long Term Support. Enterprise stability ....

This should NEVER break. Now after 10 versions we suddenly remove stuff .......

Install zabbix-agent2-plugin-postgresql package.

@jurijs i know it now, thats not the point.

the point is that in the middle of 6.0 my automated upgrades where broken causing unneeded problems, causing me to loose time making a bug report rolling back to 6.0.9 and now loosing time upgrading our ansible roles to install an extra pkg in some cases where we have postgres and maybe for other stuff aswel.

shit like this is something you change in non LTS there you can play and do whatever you like thats why there are non LTS releases

In LTS (enterprise version) people use tools to deploy, automate things, you don't want to break anything bc you know it has or can have a hughe impact.

same thing with the DB SQL files going suddenly in other locations in the middle of a version ....
