Description |
As the following email configuration, I cannot send emails (included tests) from the Zabbix Server to the SMTP server. The flows between the Zabbix Server and the SMTP server is authorized (SMTP port and firewall rules are configured as "passed", link OK with ping). Could you help me please? I don't have lots of information and I don't know how to correct it. Thank you so much. |

Hello Paul, You need to ask email Administrator (or Linux Engineer) to troubleshoot this (check mail logs to find the error reason). Also the error shown is not full, usually it has this lines in the log: failed to send email: Failure when receiving data from the peer: response reading failed failed to send email: Login denied: Authentication failed: 535
Ping and port availability is not a criteria for working SMTP communication. Please be advised that this section of the tracker is for bug reports only. The case you have submitted can not be qualified as one, so please reach out to [email protected] for commercial support (https://zabbix.com/support) or consultancy services. Alternatively, you can also use our IRC channel or community forum (https://www.zabbix.com/forum) for assistance. With that said, we are closing this ticket. Thank you for understanding. Regards, |
