My Zabbix is 5.0.31, Redmine is 4.1.1

Steps to reproduce:

  1. set up media type to a redmine https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/repos/zabbix/browse/templates/media/redmine?at=refs%2Fheads%2Frelease%2F5.0
  2. add custom fields in config to transfer Zabbix event values to Redmine issue custom fields
  3. click on test / trigger alert

Result:
Redmine issue is generated, but custom field data is not filled from Zabbix event

Expected:
Custom field value should be transferred

Hi,
Please show you current mediatype settings. Have you checked that <Redmine custom field ID> exist on Redmine side?

Hi,

sorry for my late reply.

here is my media type for redmine:

I have checked all custom fields, those are exists and IDs are okay. (EventId: cf_21, EventLink: cf_22, Event URL: cf_23)

Custom field name should be in format

customfield_<Redmine custom field ID>

In your case it probably can be like customfield_EventId.
"Event Link" is Link type - Custom fields can only be of the text, integer, float or date types. https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/repos/zabbix/browse/templates/media/redmine?at=refs%2Fheads%2Frelease%2F5.0

In any case it's misconfiguration, not a bug. Please continue the discussion via Zabbix forum (zabbix.com/forum) or telegram channel (t.me/ZabbixTech)
