 Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Users->Authentication->LDAP settings.
  2. Add LDAP server.
  3. Go to Users->User groups
  4. Create user group with Frontend access LDAP, but leave LDAP server as default.
  5. Go back to Users->Authentication->LDAP settings.
  6. Observe list of LDAP servers.

Result:
User groups column shows 0 user groups.

Expected:
User groups column should show the correct number of user groups, including groups that use default LDAP server. In this case 1.

Problem occurs in CUserdirectory()->addRelatedUserGroups() function, that does not take into account user groups, which have default LDAP server.

Implemented in feature/ZBX-24008-7.0.

Comment by Alexander Vladishev [ 2025 Jan 16 ]

The decision was made not to implement this due to the potential for even greater confusion with the number of user groups linked to LDAP servers.
