  2. Browse Zabbix / Zabbix - ZABBIX GIT
  3. Importa .yaml to zabbix
  4. Get this error

Hi, I recently upgraded Zabbix server from 5.0 to 7.0, and now I wanted to import "template_app_zabbix_server.yaml" downloaded from git for version 7.0 and got error 

  • Invalid tag "/zabbix_export/templates/template(1)/items/item(52)/preprocessing/step(1)": the tag "parameters" is missing.

 

I exported a template from another 7.0 server and it was imported without any problems, the difference is the "parameters" entry in the preprocessing key

 

 

And after adding parameters there is problem with

Invalid tag "/zabbix_export/templates/template(1)/discovery_rules/discovery_rule(2)/overrides/override(1)/filter/conditions/condition(1)": the tag "formulaid" is missing.

Witch was fixed by adding formulaid: A

 

But then this error appears, and this is required/missing in all TEXT and CHAR items ...

Search for "- type: CHANGE_PER_SECOND" and there should be "parameters" after this, it not you have to add it with - '' like on image above. Maybe you have just few to fix ...

Probably can fixed by using notepad++ and some fancy regexp replace formula.

Same issue for me.
It appears when I tried to upgrade template from Zabbix git repo (6.4.16).

I have tried many templates from the repo and there is always an error when importing.

After 7.0.0 update, problem is the same.

This issue is fixed in version 7.0.1rc1. Please try updating to version 7.0.1rc1 or wait for the stable 7.0.1 release, which is planned for next week.

It seems that your database has an incorrect encoding. Could you please attach the output of the MySQL command:

SHOW CREATE TABLE items;

All text fields should have this encoding. Please especially check the "description" field.

Your table has the incorrect encoding:

CHARSET=latin1 COLLATE=latin1_swedish_ci

To fix this issue, you need to convert all text fields to UTF-8 encoding. On this page, one of the methods for converting your database to a Zabbix-supported encoding is described.

I have acces to other zabbix server, we have 2 difernetes but same verison..

In one we don't have any problem for import..

but on the other one we have a problems..

 

sasha  say me the problem is encoding of databse.. but i compare with other server and the all servers have the same encodnig..

In your case, the encoding is displayed for the table as a whole. Could you please provide a part of the output that contains this information? Something like this:
