Sorry, what is the problem? You need increase amount of allocated memory for VMwareCache.

Comment by hiwuye [ 2024 Sep 11 ]

The configuration has been from 50M to 500M to 1024M, all of which cannot be met, and the actual usage rate is extremely low, and the above occupancy chart is a screenshot of the 50M configuration.

zabbix_proxy  config:

Item error message: Not enough shared memory to store VMware events.

zabbix_proxy log:

2311040:20240911:170432.126 Postponed VMware events requires up to 691647672 bytes of free VMwareCache memory. Reading events skipped

When using zabbix 6.0 and the cache configuration is 50M, I didn't encounter such a problem.

You attached VMware cache graph from Zabbix server, but now speaking about Zabbix proxy. Where from do you monitor VMware?

Also please share text data as text! It is very difficult to perform search with screenshots.

The issue can be related to ZBXNEXT-9405. Which is currently under development. Please wait Zabbix 7.0.4 and check it.
