 Description   

if there's a systemwide error/status message (like failed logins one), it is displayed in a page that first requests messages. unfortunately, this also includes all dashboard widgets.

dashboard widgets probably shouldn't show systemwide messages

It was also possible to reproduced this way:

  • enable "Auto-logout (min 90 seconds)" option in user profile,
  • close browser with opened zabbix frontend,
  • after the Auto-logout period do start the browser - and you will see those errors.

Another scenario:

  • enable "Auto-logout (min 90 seconds)" option in user profile,
  • disable "Show warning if Zabbix server is down" global frontend parameter,
  • set 120 seconds as update interval for all widgets,
  • update the dashboard page wait 120 seconds.

With 2nd scenario: very first time there will be two errors displayed, including "Session terminated, re-login, please".
But with next widgets refresh - the first error will disappear and only "Operation cannot be performed due to unauthorized request." will stay displayed.

Just a summary: the SID was used for Dashboard page till 2.2 (including). Correct SID was required to open the page.
But starting from 2.4 - it's ignored on the page, and in trunk (for 3.0) it's missing already when opening the page.
