Hi guys documentation for item prototypes states that LLD macros and user macros can be used in preprocessing. https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/current/en/manual/discovery/low_level_discovery/item_prototypes "Low-level discovery macros and user macros are supported in item prototype configuration and item value preprocessing parameters. Note that when used in update intervals, a single macro has to fill the whole field. Multiple macros in one field or macros mixed with text are not supported." In the section dedicated to javascript preprocessing only usermacros are mentioned. As the LLD macros are working in javascript preprocessing for item prototypes I guess this just needs to be documented here:
