zabbix running in a centOS 5.5, in a mysqlDB


 Description   

I cannot get any messages from the Event Viewer in a windows 2008 r2.

I have created several simple key's:

eventlog[System,,Error]
eventlog[Application]

None of them seem to work. Is this a known problem ?

might be related to ZBX-2008

as, it would be nice to know:
1. do you used successfully the key eventlog[] on the others your windows machines before ?
2. do you double checked an agent configuration parameter "Hostname" for the 2008r2 server?

I have the same problem, signed up the item in windows 2003 server and it worked when installed on windows 2008 server did not receive data, such as solved?
