This is problem occurs with PostgreSQL 8.3 or major. The 8.3 remove much types implicit cast, the recommendation PGDG (PostgreSQL Development Group) is to use explicit cast to sql expression SQL. This patch add explicit cast to sql expression with UNION in "nodewatcher.c". Regards, |

I finalized this patch for zabbix-1.8.3. The result in brunch ALT/zabbix/1.8.3/ zabbix-1.8.3-alt0.rc3.svn.13816.1 (see http://git.altlinux.org/people/solo/packages/zabbix.git?p=zabbix.git;a=commit;h=d218d67b4a8b913dadbae2cac21b36e72734f4fd) posted Sisyphus (see http://en.altlinux.org/Sisyphus) and successfully interact with PostgreSQL 8.4 using distributed monitoring. |
