 Description   

Web monitoring is showing the error message "Error: couldn't resolve host name" for some scenarios. Verify that name resolution (DNS) is functioning normally in zabbix server. We have carried out the test using the curl command and the same steps configured and does not happen no errors.

I have exactly the same problem, DNS resolve works perfectly on the server, but zabbix gives DNS resolving problems. It sounds more like a product bug than a support question, even if it requires a config change to fix, it's still a bug, because default config does not resolve the DNS.
