Description |
An acknowledgement has an allowed length of 255 characters. If it exceeds 255 characters, the acknowledge button wil raise an error returning: ERROR: 'Cannot acknowledge event' If you exceed 255 characters and hit the 'Acknowledge and return' button it won't raise an error and won't save the text either. |

We should set a hard limit on text fields, i.e. it must be impossible to enter more than allowed number of characters. |

Release 2.0.6 seems to be still affected by this issue. |

at least in opera with current trunk it acts a bit strange - if i try to enter anything longer than 255 symbols, it visibly shows longer string and then trims it. if you have a way to submit longer message, please, open a new issue (and note browser & database used) |
