It may be that upper case "K" is actually more appropriate. Quoting Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilobyte :
The kilobyte is a multiple of the unit byte for digital information. The International System of Units (SI) defines the prefix kilo as 1000 (10^3); therefore one kilobyte is 1000 bytes. The unit symbol for the kilobyte is kB. In some fields of information technology kilobyte has traditionally also been used to denote 1024 (2^10) bytes, which arises from binary exponentiation common to digital circuitry. In this context the unit symbol K or KB has been common.
According to ZBX-4390, K=1024 at least in some parts of Zabbix, so we may actually leave it as is. ZBXNEXT-954 is also related. In any case, this issue should be solved in conjuction with ZBX-4390 and ZBXNEXT-954, so we may or may not wish to link this as a duplicate of both of them.
