Discovery seems to suffer a layer of permission issues in all parts. Users can not see the "Discovery" tab under "Monitoring", you have to be an admin to see that tab, which is a significant problem for using that feature. While an Admin can see Discovery under Configuration, they can't see the discovery rules, you have to be an super admin for that, which again is a significant problem. Discovery is a great feature for low level network scanning results, but as is it can't be used properly in a tiered IT situation. |
