 Description

monitoring -> web, choose some scenario, choose "all" for the time period.
extend time period to the right (past the bar area) - that is allowed and eventually the scrollbar goes outside the browser window.

i believe that this got initially broken in r29459 - since that revision time period here can be expanded to the right, past the edge of the bar area, but as this page is still reloaded, the effect of the bug is negated.

then, r32021 exposed it by implementing graph reloading without page refresh.

reproducible in opera 12.14, firefox 18.0, konqueror 4.7.2

(1) my testing shows that this problem is not present in latest data graphs or values, and custom graphs. why so ? don't they all use the same code ?

iivs the problem was the same, maybe it was not visible due to different data. The more hours, days, weeks etc you have, the less possibility for scroller to overflow.

<richlv> thanks, CLOSED

(2) something similar happens in log monitoring (so maybe in all latest data/values pages ?)
i had data for a few hours, clicked on "3h", then "all" - scrollbar extended past the left hand border and browser window

iivs scrollbar uses same code, should work properly in svn://svn.zabbix.com/branches/dev/ZBX-6283

Seems related to ZBX-5784.

In events, you can't see the bug due to page refresh when changing period, but bug can be seen in Monitoring->Web.
To reproduce, create new Web Scenario and the go to Monitoring->Web and select that scenario. Page doesn't have 30sec refresh, so leave page open for a while. The maximum time will be increased, thus allowing that bar to expand beyond the visible borders (it "thinks" they should be wider). Because there is no page refresh and filter doesn't refresh with it. Unlike in Events, after changing time period, page is refreshed and filter automatically adjusts to new size.
