Why is it useless? It selects the current day and time.

jelisejev I got it, but the "Now" button just takes the user to the current date. It makes the calendar easier to navigate. For instance, if you have some period selected and you want to use the calendar to view the data for the last week. You press "Now" and then you can easily find your way around, instead of scrolling to the current date manually.
