Use environment with nodes. Open Configuration > Screens. Create or edit a screen. Make sure you have no (for example) graphs. However, you may have host groups, hosts and items. In item pop-up select tags for groups and hosts are empty (see attached image). |

With distributed monitoring removed in Zabbix 2.4, this is unlikely to be looked into, so closing as "Won't fix". |
