fixed in svn://svn.zabbix.com/branches/dev/ZBX-7600 this introduces two blocks (for apache 2.2 and 2.4), and removes excess clause that, in addition to blocking everything, also blocked .php files - discussed on irc, we could not come up with a reason for that (tried unicode entities, direct paths to files and other potential tricks) |

note that old syntax will work with apache 2.4 if module mod_access_compat is loaded. if not, attempts to read old syntax will fail with : Invalid command 'Order', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration |

(1) we will want to document somewhere potential error message with old syntax, module to be loaded and which zabbix version introduces support for 2.4 syntax. we might want to link to http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/upgrading.html and http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/mod_authz_core.html <richlv> initial version of the docs at https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/2.0/manual/installation/install#copying_php_files - if acceptable, will be used in 2.2 version of the docs, too jelisejev I suggest to move it from the main body of the text to a separate section. Something like "Troubleshooting" or "FAQ". I've also changed the paragraph a bit to describe the problem more precisely <richlv> see the link to the troubleshooting section in https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/2.0/manual/installation/install#copying_php_files and https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/2.2/manual/installation/install#copying_php_files - RESOLVED <richlv> as discussed, moved installation specific troubleshooting to a separate appendix page. note that it was added in 'installation' appendix category instead of a subcategory in 'troubleshooting'. RESOLVED AGAIN jelisejev Looks good. CLOSED. |
