 Description

Steps:

Add a map.
Create a element.
Set type = Host Group
Show = HOst group elements
Area type = custom size
Set to a hostgroup with 10 hosts or 9 hosts
The algoritm not use entire area... the horizontal space between 2 servers is HUGE and proportional to element size, but is not proportional to number of hosts + size of images.

I attach screenshots of editor and runtime (with tags for betther understand) and XML of MAP + host_group

Adail, please newer set "Fix Version/s:" when creating an issue.
Only devs are allowed to do it during development/fixing.

Ok Oleksiy, I understand wrong this field... i think is "I like to solve before..." kkkk

Currently im writing a book about Zabbix in portuguese and found this bug will be great if the problem are solved fast (if is possible)... because this is a important part of him !

The book will be a Creative Commons License !

More one sample of bug.

Maybe the algoritm give priority to use "lines" instead "columns" ?

Adail, we can't promise to fix it in the nearest future, but we'll try to give this bug priority. Do you need the fix for 2.2 or 2.4 for your book?

I understand!

Im creating the book using 2.2.3rc1 (and after final 2.2.3 release will update to final version).

Very thank you for priority !!!!
