 Description   

The order elements may overlay each other can be relevant when stacked.

It appears that (at least) an updated icon leads to place the corresponding element in the background to the lowest layer on saving.
For the current implementation of editing maps I'd expect the order elements may overlay each other to be fixed.

The effect is not noticeable while editing.

it's based on map element id - i believe it's not even worth changing until we get ZBXNEXT-875

I see.

However, when creating a map and adding three elements A B C, then they are displayed in this order.
Right after saving and closing the map they get sorted C B A.
When then the map is edited again and B is updated, it results in the order C A B.

In case this should really not been fixed, it should be documented properly.

Haven't found any note about this behavior in the documentation.
