Description |
It would be nice if the count function could understand in the pattern parameter an item. It can already take a macro as a parameter, however sometimes that it not enough if one for example would want to create a trigger for the system cpu load based on the available number of cpus on a system. M |

could you please provide an example of how that would look like ? |

( {TRIGGER.VALUE}=0 & {Template-Linux_Generic:system.cpu.load[,avg1].count(#3,({Template-Linux_Generic:system.cpu.num.last(0)}+2),"gt")}=3 | ({TRIGGER.VALUE}=1 & {Template-Linux_Generic:system.cpu.load[,avg1].count(#3,( {Template-Linux_Generic:system.cpu.num.last(0)}+2),"gt")}>0 |

I'd said it looks like a request for support a trigger macro as a parameter for trigger function http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/2.0/manual/appendix/macros/supported_by_location |
