sometimes we can end up with two hosts with the same hostname. this is bad (see this warning should be printed also when obtaining information for a proxy - if there are two hosts with the same name on that proxy |

Just remember that zabbix proxies are allowed to have the same hostname as zabbix agents. <richlv> absolutely, the check should be limited to hosts only |

Yes, duplicated hostname is occurring for various reasons. I think it is necessary to warn the user to notice. |
