 Description

After removing distibuted node there is no option to remove all its data from the database.
There should be some 'delete and clean' option in zabbix UI.

this noted by the frontend when you delete a node :
"Please be aware that database still contains data related to the deleted node."

moving to feature requests

Yes, it is noted, but there is no option to cleanup database at all. Housekeeper is not cleaning orphaned data.

Manual database cleanup is pain in the ass, since there is no official procedure for such issue. Or I couldn't find any...

FFYI - nodes support has been removed in ZBXNEXT-1343

upgrade process now converts nodes to proxies, but data from deleted nodes is still likely to linger behind. would be nice to provide some way of getting rid of it

edit : as noted by zalex, the above is not correct - hosts, monitored by child nodes, will be brought up to the master node instead
