Description |
repo.zabbix.com (and all Zabbix websites) don't have IPv6 connectivity. Deploying IPv6-only hosts which use repo.zabbix.com as their repository is therefore not possible since they can't contact the repository. I would kindly like to request that IPv6 connectivity is added to at least repo.zabbix.com so IPv6-only hosts can download the official packages. |

Any progress? After one year it's still IPv4-only |

Sorry, we don't have any progress so far. Our repository server doesn't have IPv6 address now. |

Has there been any progress on this? It's 2 years later and the repository is still IPv4-only. We have multiple IPv6-only hosts in our network and we currently need to use a proxy for them. |

If you're open for the idea, we (Nucleus) are very willing to mirror the zabbix repositories as we do with other open source projects. It can reduce the load on your infrastructure, help geo-distribution and fault tolerance of the repository. |

I see that repo.zabbix.com is now running at DigitalOcean. They support IPv6, so I assume that the AAAA-record can be created? This would be very helpful! |

It does have IPv6 connectivity, I am closing this ticket. |
