Hi, I have attached a sample zabbix graph. What I was thinking was a way to allow the user to move the mouse over (hover) OR click on the item and then the items description from the item configuration would "popup" (not a popup internet window just the appearance of it) or be displayed somewhere on the page. In this case they could click on "Incomming network traffic on eth0" and the items description would appear. This would allow the person setting up the monitoring to enter meaningful descriptions of the monitored item in the items configuration and the maybe not so technical minded end user looking at a graph would be able to make more sense of the item.
