Hi there,

Here in our organization we are using a modified zabbix frontend to show elements in the maps without status, because the hosts have a custom icons to each status and at this point the texts about status are unnecessary. The only one label element necessary is the name of element, in this case, we did a patch to modify zabbix to allow it.

Following in attachment a patch to do it.

Useful feature for us. We use maps to draw network topology
and those "status" labels are just a waste of space in our case.

We were running some pre-2.2 version (2.1.0-36024?) and
for label_type the label contained only element name
without status.

After migration to 2.4.3 I was wondering how to get rid
of "status" part of label.
Fortunately, your patch solved the problem.
I hope it will be included in the future release.
