that's actually by design - it is trivial to open link in a new tab in any recent & decent browser, while it is nearly impossible to open in the same tab if link opens in a new one. personally, i'd vote heavily against suggested change |

hmm, true. in that case, i'd say "latest data" links in the popup should be proper links instead of javascript redirects |
