Description |
I have a lot of IPMI devices and i want to monitor them, first i thought that i can use IPMI checks in network discovery like for SNMP, but later noticed that zabbix does not have IPMI checks for discovery. I searched for that functionality in documentation for later version and found nothing, searched for same feature request in zabbix Jira and again found nothing.

+1. We've got an ugly work around in scripts and would love to see IPMI discovery as an option. |

With new Template for IPMI monitoring https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/ipmi this feature becomes even more needed. Because otherwise the template cannot be used together with Network Discovery. |

I have search all over the place to figure out how to add a IPMI interface to a host during a network discovery and to no avail. Has anyone figured out how to even add the IPMI interface during a discovery? I have SNMPv3 working just fine. |
