splitting out (39) from current xml export outputs all kind of useless information - for example, snmp tags for non-snmp items. |

It is not a bug. Our XML file contains all possible fields for items, hosts and other elements. I close the issue as "Won't Fix". |

well, then it would be a feature request excess information in xml files makes them larger, which means more resources needed for processing, bigger limits required in php for upload filesize etc it reduces the usefulness of xml export/import in larger environments |

this has been confusing for users, too - people look at template xml and see all the snmpv3 tags. decide that it's an snmp template and skip it. in reality, all the items in the template are agent items. |
