Description |
The VMWare discovery is a great feature, however this is very limiting to what can actually be done with hosts and vmware guests. A lot of people want to perform more checks and add more templates into the host to check applications, web events and such. After the VMs are discovered, they're basically a read-only host and need to be added in twice ( leading to confusion ) but more manual work for everyone. A discovered VM should be editable to also include it's real IP so then additional templates can be added. Marked as minor as there are workarounds available |

The screenshot shows the locked down settings for the VM. The template tab has no options to add additional templates in. |
