 Description

When opening the calender/time picker, e.g. in the context of the time-slider, then it can only be closed when hitting the corresponding time on the time-slider again. That's not obvious to most users.
Would be nice if there is a option to close/cancel the calender by a button/hyper-link in the calender itself.

Mark, you can close the calendar by click on the date again
Very related discussion is ZBX-3972.

note that it was mentioned as "hitting the corresponding time on the time-slider again"

maybe clicking outside of the popup should close it ?

Closing when clicking outside of the popup would be nice, indeed.
Anyway, since there are buttons to interact with the popup, users would expect a button to cancel/close it there as well - in addition to the outside-click-cancelation.

don't really get what 1st sentence from issue description actually means ...
Is this about clicking on date (start - end) and opening calendar or what ?

Comment by richlv [ 2015 Oct 25 ]

yep, it is about that

As for the time slider it should also be prevented to have both calenders open simultaneously.
