We're in the process of fully automating the deployment of new Zabbix servers as well as using the API to manage all Zabbix configuration settings. One of the things that is missing, is the ability to change the default authentication for the instance Zabbix from the API. We currently have to solve this by running a SQL statement which is a bit hackish as most other things can be controlled through the API easily. Please consider exposing this functionality via the API as well. |

Assuming ZBXNEXT-2291 covers all the needed parameters for LDAP and others, this could be a duplicate of that issue. |
